Lord Whitty Chair, Consumer Focus

Welcome to Focus on Finance - a unique initiative from Consumer Focus which will identify and examine, from a consumer perspective, the big questions arising from the financial crisis.

Over the next few months, eminent thinkers in the financial services world will be guest authoring a series of discussion papers covering topics such as how financial products and services should ideally work for consumers and reform of financial services regulation, nationally and internationally.

These papers will then be debated by, amongst others, industry, regulatory and governmental stakeholders via a series of high-level discussion seminars. They will also be available on this site for you to read and respond to.

We are keen for you to contribute your thoughts and ideas by submitting your comments on this site.
